#317 - Xiaoyingzhou - island of small seas, created in 1607 as an artificial coral reef

#97 - Chopsticks - "Some people think that the great scholar Confucius, who lived from roughly 551 to 479 B.C., influenced the development of chopsticks. A vegetarian, Confucius believed knives would remind people of slaughterhouses and were too violent for use at the table." (from FactMonster) But according to many sources they believe chopsticks have been used even before then. Apparently a long time ago when people were cooking in open pots they used twigs to stir. Then as time progressed, Asian people started cutting the meat & veggies in smaller pieces which could be stabbed by the stick. Then with time, the twigs were trimmed down to the now popular shape.
#338 - AMS - Acute Mountain Sickness - also known as altitude sickness. It is the biggest health concern for tourists in Tibet. I won't go into major details, but it stems from the lack of oxygen.
