Happy 4th of July

Hannah Grace's first Sunday morning at church.
Our teacher surprised us all by asking Hannah Grace to sing Jesus Loves Me to start the lesson. And surprisingly she did it. (Yes, I am one proud Mama.) I am still pretty shocked that she didn't clam up. During her solo, she got slower & a little softer but still she got through it none the less.
She did really well in our class. I can't say the same for big church. About half way through Miss Priss got hot & decided it was time to come out of her "pretty" dress (as she calls her smocked dresses.) She unbuttoned the top button & was trying to pull it up over her head. Of course I tried to stop her & that made her mad. So, we made a speedy exit out of the sanctuary to the front foyer where we saw our teacher's hubby & a few of the security guys hanging out. He decided to exploit my child (just kidding) by getting her to sing again - and she did it. Showbiz might be in her future. YIKES

My first 4th of July
Every American must be stylin for Independence Celebrations!!!!

We were invited to spend the afternoon at some very sweet, dear friends home to celebrate Miss Priss' first Independence Day. We swam, had a cook out, & swam some more. The kids had a blast & so did we. Thanks Pops.
Elijah just hanging out

Heath spent most of his time in the air - literally.
He really enjoyed that diving board.

Miss Priss on her throne

Yes, that's Heath again.

Hannah Grace made a new BFF last night. This is Izzie. They were in the pool holding hands. Once Izzie got there after we ate, these two were not far apart. Hannah Grace has talked about her all morning. ;0)

Beautiful girls.
