Date To China

Our paperwork is finally on the way to China! (March 13th) This is another huge step in the process. We now have to wait for China to process our paperwork and give us our Log In Date (LID). Since my last post, we have been looking at Bethany's Children of Promise program that are children with Special Needs. You are sent a list with medical information on each of the children and then you decide which ones that you can handle. You then write a letter to Bethany and they decide who gets the children. Their Special Needs range from mild to severe. This has been a very difficult process for us. We have a difficult time saying that we cannot handle one of these children, because if they were born naturally to us, we would love and care for them. You are also given pictures of the children and you honestly get emotionally attatched to every one of them. Then you find out a couple of days later that you were not matched. It is a nerve racking process. Anyway, that is the latest news right now. I will continue to update you as things progress.
Prayer Request:
In May, the Morris clan of 5, plus my parents, my brother, Charity's parents and Charity's two sisters are all going to DisneyWorld together. It is going to be an exciting time. The boys are ecstatic. Pray that the boys handle the plane ride well and Charity too. It should be an adventure that no one will forget for a long time and Disney will probably never be the same again.
