A fellow blogger gave me the best idea for Father's Day. Every year they send their Dad on a scavenger hunt. The purpose for the day is pure family time. We sent Andy on a hunt & he did really great with the not so easy clues. ;0) After lunch his clue sent him to North America's only freshwater pearl museum. When we got there we watched a short film about pearls in general & the area there at Camden. Did you know that pearls aren't formed after sand gets in? I always thought it was a piece of sand that would irritate it. But we learned it has to be a living organism.
We were then scheduled to spend the rest of the day at the river playing, swimming, enjoying each other & just having fun. We still had fun, but for reasons that I will not bore you with, we did not end up swimming. Maybe next time.
Happy Father's Day Andy. We love you. You are the best!!!!! Thank you for being the awesome Christian Dad that you are. YOU ROCK.
