May I See Some ID

Friday night I needed to get out of the house. So, my 28 year old sister, our college student & myself ran by our local mall. Our local mall has a policy that persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult after certain hours (6:00 I think). As we were walking out of a certain store one of the security guys came up to us. He asked if we were from around here & we said yes. He started to tell us about the curfew rules. We listened, smiled & was just about ready to leave. Then he asked to see our ID. (In telling this story Andy thought this guy must have been flirting. But he was NOT & he was very serious.) We all started to laugh. Then in a little more stern fashion he asked again to see them. So, the college student & my sister started pulling them out. I asked him if he really needed to see mine - I mean really? I am 36 years old for goodness sake. After he saw all 3 of our ID cards he said we looked young for our age. OK yeah right. He told us to have a good night & we went on. Not once did this guy ever crack a smile & he barely looked at us. It was like he was looking for the next group of old people to card. *insert crazy laugh here* So, there you have it - a normal Friday night in the life of this small town. ;0)
