How To Put God's Hand into a Title?

How do I explain how I am feeling? Sunday was an absolutely amazing time of worship. I have to be careful not to take away from the one whom we worship. I think in some ways, some of our church was taken aback. It was kind of like adoption awareness & the orphan crisis was put in front of a group of people who, I feel, were absolutely stunned and shocked at where sin has gotten us. I have had a couple of people talk to me about Sunday (yeah!!!) They are realizing that God isn't wanting us to just sit around and TALK about this crisis. He wants us to get BUSY. I told Andy that I can just "feel" the something that God is doing in the air. And the good thing is - it's contagious. I met with our children's minister. He said he's had several people come to him also. So, now we are working together to slowly educate our folk. He has given me an assignment that I am so pumped about. We are going to first work on making people aware of specific children locally and internationally that need families. We plan on praying for a few children at a time (Oh how I pray that God will just take off with this & let it become bigger than anything we can handle!!!) and making people aware of their situations. I can just envision these kids being moved from one side of "needing a family" to "needing prayer for a homecoming" on our board. Please pray that God uses us for His glory and not of our own.
I know this is going to be a stretch for some people, but we will only grow if we are stretched. We can't just sit in our comfortable pew each and every week while these kids are out there "living" in the real world on their own. When our children's minister was speaking of how many (300+) local children are needing a family in our county, I don't think there were many dry eyes. So, I guess in a small way we have begun our orphan ministry. We are working with the foster care issues, trying to help some with adoptions, and looking ahead to where we will be able to help the orphans who will never be able to have a family for whatever reason.

No new news regarding our place in line. There was a referral this week for a 5 year old girl (Yeah Rah!!!) but that one doesn't move us up. Thank you Jesus for bringing home another one to their forever family.
