I'm In The Wrong Profession

 Here's some of the last pics of Elijah hopefully without showing his pearly whites.  He made another trip to the orthodontist this week & got the final results.  Oh My Word!!!!  The next 3 years will be something, but the end result should be so worth it.  (He doesn't necessarily agree at this point, but hopefully that will change.)

 Until I came looking for a picture of him, I didn't realize how he keeps his mouth closed for pics.  What a difference from when he was little.  But that's okay because the plan of action is serious.  No playin around with this Dr.  We are going to fix those teeth!!!!! ;0)

 Hopefully he will let me take pics of the work in progress.  (I am praying for peace during all this.)

 Don't quite know how or even why this pic made it to the blog, but oh well.  Why not?

We start this Thursday with pulling yet ANOTHER two teeth.  Then a week later we will get a crank appliance, a lip bumper, & two braces.  Then phase two will consist of a full set of braces.  And then phase three is the retainer.  And then we slow it down to only a retainer at night - which the Dr. said could be for life.  It seems that the poor boy got my small jaws & big teeth.  Poor guy.  Pray for him - he's quite upset about the entire situation.  But, I think we are making it up to him.  He & Andy found his celebration for when this is all over.  We are saving our pennies to take him to LegoLand.  He just has to decide which one he wants to go to.  Now, I am looking forward to it. (hehe)
