We Are Alive!!!!!

Bad Bad Blogger!!!  Yes, to my few little followers - I am alive.  I actually just sat down to check another homeschooler's site to look for something & I decided to look at my own.  And low & behold - people are still coming to my blog.  Maybe I needed that.  I needed to be pushed because right now this site is the LAST thing on my mind.

We have been through so much in the last 2 months.  I can't believe she's been home that long & then in other ways it seems like she's been a part of this family all along. ;0)

The boys all went on a week long camp to their destination of choice, which left Mama washing & packing all summer long.  The guys all went to Costa Rica on a Family Mission Trip - I'll have to do a seperate post on that one.  We have officially started 7th, 6th, 5th, & K.  Ellie-Joy has sat QUIETLY (that is the miracle) for 2 Sunday night services so Mama can get back to civilization again.  We all took a trip to the zoo & saw Wendy, the baby giraffe that had just been born 3 days before.  BTW - she's too cute for words.  HG learned how to swim in just 3 little lessons - thanks Ms. Sara!!!!!  She is just a little fish when it comes to the pool.  EJ & HG took me to see our town's children's play.  EJ & HG both loved it & surprisingly enough I didn't have to take anyone out.  And thanks to 2 new frozen yogurt shops - we have had our share & more of ice cream this summer.  Of course that isn't all that has happened, but it's a little glimpse into what's been going on over here. 

Oh - I must tell.  Our main computer screen went out & EJ doesn't know how to sleep.  I must admit - that's the main reasons why I haven't been so faithful. ;0)

2 of the 5 are already up.  I need to go start preparing for a BIG second day at Morris Academy.  We are doing fun unit studies & such until September when our workbooks & other supplies come in.  I think today we'll be organizing a huge stash of books that was donated by some really sweet friends.  Love you guys!!!!
