We Made It Official

Here in the good ole state of TN we do not have to readopt for China but we do have to for Ethiopia.  So, we've been putting off the official court proceedings for HG.  When it came time to readopt EJ, we decided to do both of the girls together.  (Now we will have a TN birth certificate for both of them which should make our lives easier in the long run.)

They were pretty disappointed that the security check point wasn't as detailed as the ones in the airports.  They wanted to walk barefoot through the metal detectors.  Ah, the life of boys. ;0)

 EJ officially started walking just a week before this.  She was trying to go everywhere.  Poor thing had to go barefoot - we hadn't been shoe shopping just yet.  I guess folk here in TN really do walk around everywhere barefoot (& that includes the courthouse.) LOL

 Us with the judge - right after he bribed all my kids with m&m's first thing in the morning.  I couldn't believe he gave them all out.  He said he wants to make all the kids like him - I think it worked. ;0)

Here's our lawyer & awesome friend who helped us get this all done.  When Andy started checking with all the lawyers to see who could do it - Jerome offered to help us as a gift to the ever growing Morris family.  What a blessing!!!!!!!
