I was checking my blogs tonight & found this post on a "cyber-friend's" blog. Her agency has these two girls READY. Could God be calling you to them? They sound wonderful. Pray then read her post below and then pray some more. The agency's contact info is at the bottom of this post. Let's find these girls' family. They are out there!
Are These Your Daughters??
***Well, here I am again tonight...READY to PRAY some beautiful girls to their forever family!! If you are NEW around here, then you might ask..."How Did I Decide To Start Doing This?" Well, that one is simple...It came from God!! A couple of months ago, I felt this overwhelming burden to advocate for these "precious curly headed brothers" I met in Ethiopia while picking up Lucy Lane...BUT it was one weekend in particular that they wouldn't leave my mind..I KNEW God was telling me I WAS TO DO SOMETHING!!! So I did...I advocated for the first "waiting children" on my blog AND I truly didn't know what would happen...Well, God KNEW....Within hours I had a family emailing me about FEELING these were their children...AND within 48hrs. these boys had a family....So...NOW in honor of the curly headed brothers I did meet...I will advocate for the children I never got a chance to meet....SO...that is where we are tonight:
****Tonight I'm here to tell you about two sisters! I'm no longer allowed to share cropped pictures, so you'll just have to read and trust me on this one...They are beautiful!!! (and since i can't show pics of these "specific sisters", then i'll show you the "sisters" that I personally couldn't live without..) I've been chatting with our agency, AGCI, this week about the girls and THEY ARE FABULOUS SISTERS!!! I was sent an update on them from Almaz, the director, and she speaks so highly of them....They are currently in the 3rd and 4th grade and are estimated to be ABOUT 9 and 11!! Now WHY are these girls speaking to my heart?? Well, because I am one of 4 sisters..I have three daughters and I KNOW the bond these two girls have with one another...They love each other deeply...They have lived their entire lives in EXTREME poverty, but yet are said to have loving, kind spirits that are filled with JOY!! These girls are in EXCELLENT health and are right on target for their age.....These girls are READY for their NEW parents to walk in the gates and are able and ready to BOND with a new family!! Are you their forever parents??
**The girls are living at Hannah's Hope (AGCI's care center) right now!! Almaz says they are doing so well there...They are both excelling in school...She says that the older sister LOVES to do her homework and works hard at it, WHILE the younger sister needs a little more encouragement :) The younger sister is said to be GIFTED in sports!! Can't you already see her in her first uniform playing soccer on her FIRST team!!!
***Let me tell you what I know about their story and their life....These two sisters are said to LONG for a family to build a future with!! You see...these two girls KNOW what it is like to have a family...They had a family...but yet, they have experienced LOSS like no one should at such a young age....These girls have lost BOTH of their parents AND have no one left to care for them...Both of their parents are now deceased....These girls remember what it was like to feel LOVE...and they want that AGAIN!! AND they deserve it!! God wants these children to have a forever home, and I know He will connect the dots again to the perfect family!! These girls need YOU to give them a chance........Lets NOT allow these children to sit in an orphanage over the next year as they continue to grow older and DREAM of a family coming to get them...Lets find their family NOW....Lets work together to get the right people reading this post...so that a family can get on the paper work and get these girls HOME!! You see...the ONLY reason these girls are still sitting on the "wait list" is because of their age....AND every month they only get older...
**Remember that AGCI LIKES to keep birth order...NOW they do make exceptions to that rule...but know that their ideal family will have older children than these girls OR no children yet!! AGAIN, they do make exceptions if someone SERIOUSLY feels these are their children and can convince them of that....so be ready for that :)
***Sisters are just AWESOME!!! I can't imagine my life with out my sisters!! Even during our own family tragedies when we were young..it was my sisters that were the CONSTANT...My sisters being together PULLED us through...These girls are no different...SOME family out there is going to have a lot of laughs ahead of them with these two girls...They will bring JOY to some one's life beyond measure!! The BEST part is..they will have each other...During the transition, during the learning of the new language...THEY WILL HAVE EACH OTHER!! Getting on a plane and heading towards a new world will be scary and so exciting for them all at the same time...YET they will have each other to lean on!! They will be a forever gift to one another :)
****I'm praying that any recent travelers to HH will leave their "input" about the girls in my comment box or email me personally and I'll post any new info we get....Please pray, pass this post along, REPOST it to your own blogs, etc...what ever it takes to get the word out about these adorable sisters!! These girls have SO MUCH ahead of them...middle school, high school, college, weddings, children and grandchildren..ALL because someone believed in them and gave them the chance to have a family!! That is all they want or need - is a family!!!
