She's more fish like than she is human!!!!!

(I hope this still fits this fall so she can wear it to some basketball games.)

Over & over I've had folks asking how she's doing. My answer has been that she's doing pretty well. And why are people surprised? I mean this is what we've been praying for for over 4 years now, right? Why are we so shocked when God answers in mighty ways?
She's sleeping well, eating well, learning English a little too fast for me (I don't want her to lose the Mandarin!!!!), leaning how to be a part of a family, learning to use manners correctly (which is the cutest little thing ever), learning how to fight with her big brothers (okay - so she already had that one figured out - I'm guessing she was pretty bossy at the orphanage too ;0). I could go on & on but I won't. She is adjusting to life as a Morris. Nothing is perfect, especially children (a good friend told me that tonight & I just love it!!!! Thanks Teresa.) Being a parent isn't easy no matter how they came to be a part of the family. We are all adjusting to life as a 6 member family. It's challenging, fun, difficult, exciting, tiring, uplifting, & exhausting all at the same time. And I wouldn't change it for anything. wink
