Le Le - is it just me or does he look bored?Next week is Noah's spring break so we are trying to plan a few fun things to do. Top on our list is a trip to the Memphis Zoo. The boys & I are finishing up a science unit on animals so this should be fun. There are only 4 zoos in the US that have pandas. We are so fortunate to have such a wealth of resources right in our back yard. Not only does the China exhibit contain the pandas, but it also has many other native animals from that area.
We've gotten on line planning our trip & boy were we surprised by what we found out. To keep my blog family friendly - they are trying to make Le Le & Ya Ya parents!!!! I am so excited. It doesn't look like anything is going to happen the good old fashioned way, but that is to be expected since they are in captivity. If they tell us anything while we are there, I'll let ya know. And by the way, it's Le Le that is letting the zoo keepers down, not Ya Ya. ;0)
We are also looking into a day at Reelfoot Lake. I love going over there if the weather is warm enough. We also have thought about camping, once again if it's warm enough. Any other ideas? I want to do a few fun things to start off our spring. But we can't devote an entire week due to other commitments. So, let me know... what will you be doing for spring break? Any suggestions for us?

Man, I want to go to the zoo! Our spring break isn't until the next week though. We also enjoyed going to the Childrens Museum in Memphis. Of course, we haven't been in a while but we enjoyed it when we went. While you're in Memphis, you might as well enjoy shopping for little Hannah, thats all ways fun! Have fun and I will be looking for pictures. Oh, sorry, no more hints about our little family project. Hopefully by Friday I will post more!
