Singing In The Rain

Now remember that I told you we were under a winter weather advisory. Well, for some reason that hasn't stopped Elijah from asking more than a few times today if he could go outside. First he wanted to play basketball, then ride his bike, then play kickball, then check to see if the neighbors were out. Each time I would remind him that it's cold out there & that it's raining. (How quickly we forget.) Each time he'd look outside the window as if I was making this stuff up. I mean, why should he believe me? We were having summer weather earlier this week!!!!!
Weather update - last night I couldn't sleep. I was up most of the night & we did get quite a bit of ice. It was pure ice from about 1:00 until 3:30 when it changed over to rain. It actually collected a good amount on our back patio, but the rain quickly dissolved it. I think it's going to warm up for our weekend & hopefully stay warm. Hey groundhog - hasn't it been about 6 weeks now??????
