Sorry it has been a while. We still aren't back in the groove of things. We have a lot to catch up on. Here's a little snippet of a day of our trip. We went to eat at the Back Porch. The boys thought it was cool to play while waiting for our table. We really didn't have to wait long & I think the boys were a little disappointed. The food was delicious & we all had a great time. Afterwards, we went back to the house & some of us went for a walk on the beach. We found & caught several "friends." Elijah was amazed by the little crabs scurrying everyhere. He & Andy caught a rather big one, but we made him toss it back. Then later he found a small hermit crab in the shell. He caught it & wanted to bring it home. We told him he could have it just for a one night sleepover. But it would need to go back home the next day when we went out to the beach. Well, we noticed that his shell had been broken. We figured he was out looking for a new shell. We offered him a few to change to but it didn't help. He was injured & it was obvious he wasn't going to make it through the night. It was sad, but we decided that since we had a preacher, 2 deacons, a pianist, 4 choir members & an audience of boys that we could lay him to rest rather properly for a crab.
