A KANGAROO!!!!!!!
Oh So Soft!
This camel was so hungry!!!Yes, I know this has nothing to do with vacation. It's 4:00 in the morning here & the house is quiet. I can't sleep. I don't have any new pictures from the beach today. I took some but my lens was so fogged up nothing really came out. (note to all you amateur photographers out there, don't put your camera in the side pocket of the cooler even in a plastic bag!)
I can't sleep. But, just in case you ever wondered yes, joeys are VERY soft. I was pleasantly surprised. I've never seen a kanagaroo that close before. The kids had a blast with him. He got a little nervous & a couple of times he jump kicked a couple of the bigger kids (yes, they deserved it - they were torturing the poor animals) But, the funny thing was he kept trying to touch all the other animals. He'd go over to them & rub and pet them and try to hug them. Most of them didn't like it & would just move away. He was fascinated with being the goat & cow's friend. Of course they didn't want anything to do with him, poor thing. So, finally he gave up on all the tall animals & went for the potbellied pig. WOW. FYI - if you make a potbellied pig mad, he will make the worse sound you've ever heard & won't stop until the offense to himself has stopped!!!! lol
Going to try & get some rest. We all got some sun yesterday. Too much in fact for Heath & Andy & Elijah. I am just praying they get to feeling better. It turns out sunscreen has an expiration date. Yes, being the worse mother ever - I didn't know that & put old stuff on them. OUCH.
