ONLY 15 More Sleeps......
until we leave for China? There is so much to do. And yet, I sit here in my chair playing on the computer. Andy has inventory this weekend. DId I tell you about one of the families that we are being blessed to travel with? They are from Pennsylvania. God has put our families together in very unique & fun ways, for which I am thankful. We each looked at two girls files when we were looking at the list of the Beijing children. Yes, you probably guessed it, we were looking at each other's child. We both have prayed for each other's daughter even before we knew the matching had been done. They have named their daughter Grace Ruth. It's been fun getting to know Tammy, Kevin & her family. I can't wait to spend our time together with them in China. We will be together the entire time (they arrive at the airport 25 minutes after we do) along with one other family who we have yet to meet. There will be other families with our group, but they will leave us for a bit in the middle to go pick up their own children in different provinces. My SW did tell me that there are two other familes from TN (one in Nashville & one in Chattanooga) that will be a part of our group. I can't tell you how excited I am about that.
I am finished packing HG's stuff for now. I am kind of waiting until after next week. My church is giving us a shower, which some of my friends seem way overly excited about. I have 1/2 of her outfits in seperate baggies complete with bows & underwear. I still have some shopping to do for odd & ends kind of things but we are getting there. Andy & I are meeting with our SW this Wednesday to finish up all of our paperwork & to get our binder organized. Our visas are in the state of TN, but as the tracking for FedEx says they are "in transit." Things seem to be coming together. I am going to meet with Noah's school later this week to discuss things with them. I am going to sit down with both sets of the grandparents, per their request (good idea by the way) and go over all the schedules & such for the boys. We will be making copies of every kind of document imaginable & give copies to both sets of parents. We still have to make all of HG's doc visits for when she returns home. I've already spoken with one of her docs & I am waiting for Vanderbildt's International Adoption Clinic to return my call. I guess that's about it for now. Have a great Sunday - I am helping give a wedding shower for Miss Megan. It is going to be so much fun. And then our church's choir is going to lead us in worshipping by singing Brooklyn Tab.'s amazing music. Tomorrow is gearing itself up to be an awesome day.
