Alien Snowman Alert

Look out that snowball has someone's name on it!
HG made her own snowman after we made the big one. For a couple of months she kept reminding us "Y'ALL (emphasis on y'all) NEVER get enough snow to make a snowman." So, of course as soon as they started seriously calling for snow - the plans began. She told everybody she saw in church, the store, the ballgame, anywhere - "Pray for THE snow." She wasn't going to let this go to chance. God WAS going to intervene & she was making sure of it. So, now she has officially made a snowman. All is good in the world of the 5 year old.

Do you think it's a bad thing that she still wears her snow bib around the house? I'm not sure if she's doing a snow dance or if she just thinks it's cold here. (could be either one) Or maybe it's the fact that she loves the purple. She got mad at me at first for making her put on the blue coat over it. Ah, the life of a fashionable girl.

In the words of our mail lady: "Your snowman looks like an alien." Okay, so I admit it's a little different, but I think those are kind of harsh words. Back a few dustings ago, I went to the store & bought 4 spray bottles. So, we filled them with water & added food coloring. Each child had a color: yellow, blue, green, & red. It was a lot of fun to watch our snow go from beautiful white, to a perfect tie-dye look. Ms. Lori would be so proud. ;0)
