As most of you are aware, we were #3 on the infant list & #17 on the toddler girl list. I kind of figured it would be a while because we haven't been seeing a whole lot of baby girls lately. And then today on the blog this is what it states. :

THAT'S US!!!!!!!
I still can't believe this is happening. I got the call about 3:45 on Monday afternoon. I was in the middle of cooking supper because Andy was coming home at 4 because he was closing that night. I even asked Liz to make sure she wasn't kidding. I was expecting 1 or 2 to go before us so I really wasn't prepared. So, I got all the details while the boys called Andy & told him to come home because we had a baby girl. As soon as he walked in the door we all ran to the computer to see her face. OH WHAT A FACE. She is just gorgeous. She has adorable kissable cheeks. She is practically bald except for the cute little peach fuzz in the back that is CURLY - thank you Lord for answering my prayers. (Yes the "fro" is still on my prayer list since she technically doesn't have any hair) She has the most piercing eyes. It's like we are looking into her soul by looking into those beautiful big eyes of hers. She's smiling in one of the pics & for that I am so thankful. She looks happy, peaceful, content. She's a tiny little thing. Think petite & then shrink it some & you'll have our cutie pie. We aren't able to post pics or any info until we pass court. But, yes, I am more than willing to share with you in person. I definitely have the new Mama syndrome going on. And I LOVE IT!!!!! I must soak all this in. Who only knows if this is my last time to experience all this or not. ;0) On to the rest of the story......

Thank goodness my sister happened to be here. I sent her to finish the spaghetti - I couldn't deal with that right then. In fact once we all settled down & ate, I didn't even notice that the burner was on low on the green beans. YUCK - I even took pictures of how pitiful those burnt beans looked. It was quite the site. LOL

As far as Hannah Grace goes, she is one PROUD big sister. She carries her picture around everywhere with her. She talks about how she's going to hold her first. Which I quickly had to tell her that wasn't happening. So, she asks why? I explained that Dad & I held her first so we should do the same with her sister - not sure she's buying it. ;0)
Poor Ellie-Joy, she will have 2 mamas looking after her.

I guess it's really time for me to get serious about udpating this blog. Hopefully soon....
