2011 starts off with a bang here at the Morris house. We did have movement today, but just on the toddler girl list. But hey, something is better than nothing. Maybe this is a sign of things to come.
We are coming off a serious holiday high here. The kids are over stimulated, over played, over lazy-fied, & just plain icky. We have met more "cousins" in the past week or so than I ever thought possible. (HG asks when she wakes up which cousin she's going to meet today. YIKES) We are exhausted. It's time to get back into some kind of routine, some kind of normalcy. I need some serious time for detoxing my kids!!!!! HELP - this isn't going to be easy (as was found out this morning when we started back to school.) The good thing is we are changing curriculum this year. Hopefully for the best (of everyone involved!) The new computer comes tomorrow so everything will be up & running by mid week - I hope. ;0)
This Saturday night Walmart & P&G have come together to sponsor family movie night on FOX. Now, I don't watch too much tv but I have to admit this has sparked my interest. Of course the fact that the kids were adopted sucked me in immediately, but it has gained the attention of my dear hubby because he loves Brooke White - the American Idol nanny. I doubt it has any christian undertones, but just the fact that people are forced to look outside their selfish box & notice others around them makes me smile. I am sure I will love this film just from this trailer. So grab your popcorn, get the blankets out & enjoy family movie night. We are scheduled to be out that night so I'm going to have to set the VCR (I just told my age didn't I? LOL) Don't spoil it for me. ;0)
