Well since we know Ellie-Joy is a baby we have to do some shopping! We were fortunate enough to borrow my aunt & uncle's baby bed for the boys. And of course Hannah Grace is in a big girl bed, which we already had. But, for this sweet blessing, we need to actually buy something. I want a convertible bed so it will grow with her. So, I've had that option in mind. I like more of the clean simple lines since hopefully this will be lasting a long time. Also, that's my style & it's easier to dust if you have fewer designs. ;0) Andy thinks she needs a few rounded curves because he says she's going to have a funny personality - yes, he sees all that in just those 2 pics. ;0) His only requirement is that it CAN NOT be white. So, first, what color? I like the espresso & coffee looks but wonder will that last the test of time? Should we stick with a dark cherry or go with a natural color wood? What do you think?
The pics are from a couple that I have found that we seem to like. For some reason I can't get the full size bed pic to download from the first set. The way it changes, is only a head board for the big girl bed. Then the second set has both a head board & a foot board. Anybody have any pros & cons either way there? You know me, I can't make a decision.
So, any thoughts? Anybody?

I LOVE the second one! I think I would like one with headboard and footboard. That way you would see the footboard and maybe not stump your toe!:)
I think the curved is more elegant and the straight more contemporary- so depends on which of those fits better into Ellie Joy. Also- to pick a color, does one of these match other furniture in her room better than another? Just a thought! So stoked for you guys!
Second one is really pretty :)
I like the second one too. And I'm very partial to dark wood
