Advanced - 2 days

For this month, CCAA sent out referrals that covered 2 days (March 23 & 24). So, that means we get to pull out 2 strips from our "Journey To Hannah Grace" jar. I am behind on posting from the last drawings. So, here goes our Chinese lessons for now. I will catch up soon. In case you are new here - when we got to 400 log in days to go we started the drawing count down. We put 400 strips in the jar & on each one has a fact about China on it. So, not only do we get to see how much longer to HG, but we are learning about China at the same time. We now only have 376 more to go.

#84 - Yao Ming. Probably the most recognized Chinese face (especially after the Olympics opening ceremony) even if you aren't a sports fan. He was born in Shanghai and now plays basketball for the Houston Rockets.

#255 - Chinese Knots (Chinese: 盤長; pinyin: pán cháng) Knotting originated as a method for communication, and a method of recording historical events.
A large knot signified an important, major event; a small knot signified a minor event. Knots were associated with cultural and religious meanings.
