New Favorite Quote

I just discovered this quote this week & I LOVE IT!!!!

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."

Isn't that just awesome.!. I know alot of times I use up all my energy for an event. I literally put my all into things (can you say internet adoption world for the past 4 years?). I do try to savor the time & enjoy whatever it is. But then I seem to have such a huge let down when I know it's finished. I sometimes forget to look back and think about all the joy that I was blessed enough to experience. (I really think I'll be a good candidate for Post Adoption Blues) So I am going to make this my new motto. I am not going to let things get me down after I have spent such energy to ensure that I had a good time with whatever IT may be. I will smile when remembering all that I've gone through. Enjoy those moments folks. Sometimes the journey may be more important than the actual thing anyway. (I am talking in general here.)
