What's Your Status?

IF I had a Facebook page, my status right now would be:

UGH!!!!!!!!!

Sorry - every time I get a letter in the mail from our wonderful Dept. of Homeland Security, I can feel the tension in my neck. Yes, our government gives me headaches. I'm sure many people say that alot, as a term of endearment. Mine is the truth. LITERALLY, they have given me another headache & Andy is going to take me out tonight. BOO. Why Why Why?????

Just sitting here waiting on my SW to call back with some of her wonderful guidance. Oh, how I will feel when those two girls are home. It'll be nice not having to check my mail & then call her just because I received another letter from THAT office. I think they've wasted more money on stamps for our cases than they've actually received from us. lol

Update: Andy worked last night on the coolest thing. He has made a prayer card for Hannah Grace. He's got a little tweaking to do on them tonight after our date, but we'll be sending them out in the mail soon. If you aren't on my mailing list, let me know - I'd be happy to send you one. I'd love to know that more & more folks are praying for my sweet baby.

-Headed to the medicine cabinet - AGAIN!!!!!!

Oh no! I AM SO SORRY! What happen now? They're definitely a pain! I am glad you are going out on a date, though. Have a great time and I will be looking for that prayer card!

Please send us a card- I will start praying for your little girl- it is hard to be here miles and miles away from my little one- I pray for her and her caregivers. I am interested to know what is happening with Homeland Security - we are waiting on our fingerprint appt. which is now expired- anyway, feeling your pain.

I fully understand your UGH!!!!!
I too spent way too much of my life waiting for mail that was sitting on desks, waiting on hold to speak to a live gov personel and no matter what I tried....they took their sweet time. Def the most humbling and frustrating thing about adoption. Hang in there..God knows all about where the paperwork is "waiting" and how the money will get figured out. Thank goodness SOMEONE DOES :)
