(sorry can't come up with a title for this one) Oh, you know this must be good. How often is it that I mention any kind of music without the words "Third Day" following behind (insert silly girl giggle)? But yes, I have had a favorite song for a while now. If you've been hiding under some rock somewhere & you haven't heard it - LISTEN to those words. It is just so moving & powerful - makes me want to jump up & go do something..........(to be continued) Tonight we had the honor & priviledge to hear Russell Moore speak (LOVE that man!!!!) It was hosted by our area orphan care ministry. He brought it tonight, just as he does every time I have ever heard him. Several families from the area had booths set up to raise funds for their adoptions. Of course, I was supposed to be helping my poor husband who was also trying to sell Mr. Moore's books. I was off mixing & mingling (I know big surprise there.) I didn't get to talk to everyone & I didn't get to buy a couple of the things I wanted to buy. Don't worry - the ministry team made sure to put everybody's contact info on the program so now they can't run OR hide from me. ;0) I was able to catch up with a local family who have already traveled for their court trip. They are just waiting by the phone for the call so they can go pick up their BEAUTIFUL son & daughter. Oh, I can't wait to see that family complete. You should see them - they are a walking JCrew advertisement already with their gorgeous 5 children. Then I FINALLY was able to meet Julie who I blog stalk on a regular basis!!!!! What a blessing she is. She's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She homeschools all her kids & just added a baby (Gorgeous baby from ET) into the mix about the same time we brought home HG & yet she's as sane & normal as anybody. ;0) I can't wait for the weather to warm up so our families can get together. (There's an awesome state park area in between us that we can meet.) Well, that's all for now. It's been a great day. God has given us so much - what are we going to do with it? Are we going to be selfish & keep it all to ourselves? or are we going to go love on some people? (if you didn't watch the video - DO IT!!!! It's a goodie.)
