A Shark Sighting!!!!!!

"Some" highlights from the Gatlinburg Aquarium We stayed at the stingray bay FOREVER!!! Have you ever seen the Lord of the Rings movies? There is a scene where the dwarf & the elf are killing the bad guys & they count to see who can get the most. Well, that was the boys with touching the sting rays. It was a hoot. Once we got into the twenties, we convinced them we could do something else. Ah, the life of boys.

So, if you ever go - wear YELLOW. This little guy was FASCINATED with HG. We figured it was her dress. He would follow her everywhere she went. He kept trying to bite at it & would hit the glass, but yet he continued to come after her. We have it on video - thanks Grammie. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it.

We all loved watching the diver feed the fish.

Elijah loved the crabs. He couldn't just touch them, he had to pick them up & look underneath.

Noah & I loved the finding Nemo fish tank - so pretty & colorful.

Papaw is always there taking care of his grandkids.

HG just loved the fish. We went through twice & we probably could have stayed longer. They are all saying they want to go back sometime soon.

Elijah & this fish are now BFFs. They stared at each other for a good 5 minutes. When Elijah would move he would follow him. It was really funny. Everytime Elijah would make a face at him, it would just entice him more. I wonder what he thought of Elijah.

This shot was taken when we got there. We were waiting on Papaw to come in. He had to run an errand & get something at a nearby shop. The kids wanted to come on in since it was cold & rainy. I tried distracting them because they were getting really antsy that they couldn't go on & check it all out. Yes, my kids inherited my patience level. ;0)

Thanks Grammie & Papaw for a fun day. We loved it.
