Thai Food, New Camera, & THE COLD

Cortney's favorite dish - she says the sauce has crack in it!!!!

Last night my sister wanted to go get some food. The Thai Cafe is back in business UP NORTH!!!!! We got there around 6:45. The place was packed & it was going to be at least an hour before her TAKE OUT would be ready. Can you believe it? So, we went shopping to pass the time. When we were coming back to pick up the food who of all people did I see leaving???? My friends Tan & Dave. Yes, you guessed it by the name - Tan is from Thailand. I met them when I went to Pattya in 2005. They were with another couple from our church, my roomie Karen. It was fun to see them there. So, I asked how was it.... Everyone liked it but of course Tan said it wasn't as good as home. ;0)

We have replaced my dying camera. Andy bought me a Nikon for Christmas. I am still learning how to use it, so if the pics don't come out very well, I apologize.

Can you believe how cold it is here? It's been staying anywhere from 10-20 degrees colder than normal. I am SO ready for some warm weather. It's just the beginning of December. What am I going to do? I guess this is the official statement to let everyone know that I am now a hermit - see you next spring!
