Happy New Year!

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more

I know it's pretty obvious. But, as I've thought about it all - we still haven't decided how to decorate HG's room, we still have some money to save, we still need to get in shape for the great wall, & we are no closer than this time last year (or so it seems.)
After the latest batch of referrals were sent out, I looked at the calendar & realized that we only have 400 LID's left. So, here's where I need your help. Since we've made a milestone, I want a tangible way to watch the countdown. I have a huge clear plastic bucket that I wanted to fill with 400 of something that I can take out each time we get closer. What should I use? I would like it to be something that the boys & I can enjoy, but right now I am drawing a blank. I thought about those colorful cotton balls - they wouldn't be too heavy like rocks. But, I also don't want to spend a fortune on this little project. So, let's hear it. Please, I need some creative ideas to be left in the comment section. HELP!!!!

Who can argue with Chocolate??? But you would have to have a piece for everyone each time...How about printing off 400 little tiny pics of waiting orphans cut them out with a paper cutter fold each in half. Draw one out, pray for that child and tape it on your fridge. You can wait for HG and help 400 kids find homes!!!! Your fridge would be soooooo cool. Like an advent countdown to HG adoption. If it sounds like too much work..come over we can do it together!
