May = Busy Busy Busy

Roses are red (pink)....

May at the Morris household is one of the busiest times of the year. LITERALLY. My dear husband celebrates his birthday along with both my sisters and both of his parents and my best girl friend. But of course the month doesn't stop there. We get to celebrate Mother's Day with 3 mamas, have end of the year school events which usually includes graduations, wedding showers galore for all those blushing brides to come this summer, homeschool curriculum fairs, adoption group meetings, then getting ready for all the summer events at church such as VBS and children's camp. Whew.... And I don't think that is all. (I guess I need someone to have a little pity on me since my husband doesn't have time to give me any - it's his busy time at work also.)
During all of this hubbub, my OUT OF CONTROL rose bush (really there is a funny story there) bloomed & my boys thought it would be great if they picked some pretty flowers for their mama. I think this has been the first time they have done this since they were preschoolers. Yes, it was wonderful being the center of their attention once again, but all of us allergy prone people suffered the sniffles until we finally threw the blooms out. How ironic that something so beautiful can make us so sickly. Anyhoo. I just wanted to brag on my guys. They still love me & for that I am so thankful.
And this year we added a little extra something to our Memorial Day weekend. We have a college student staying with us this summer - God Bless Her Soul. I just hope she lives through this & still considers us good people. But in all fairness, I think I did warn her that it's crazy around here, crowed, & usually messy. Hey, we are what we. So far it's been fun having her around. The boys are enamored by her. Hopefully the newness of her being here will wear off soon so she can have some space. ;0) I know I won't have to worry about Hannah Grace & her curfew - the boys will take care of that. They are constantly asking about our guest as to where she is & when she's coming back. TOO FUNNY!!!!!

Aww!!! Still taking in poor college students over the summer, even after all these years! It worked well for me! Love you guys!
