Prayer Update!!!

Our agency has finally answered some of our questions. You would think after waiting for 3 years that this would have been a walk in the park. For some reason this little wait was about to do a number on me. I don't know why I get so worked up. God is in total control all the time. I just have to wait to find out what's on His agenda. And boy did He have some pretty amazing surprises for me.
Here's the scoop - shortened of course. Our current agency will allow our social worker to write our homestudy for our Ethiopia adoption. YIPPEE. That was the big prayer request. We will be meeting with her this week, per her request to discuss a few details. She will be advising us throughout the process & will do our post placement reports. But, here's the best part.... We will get to keep our I-600 A paperwork for China. We will apply for another one with the USCIS since Ethiopia isn't a Hague country. In the end this makes me extremely happy. One of my biggest drawbacks has been that I didn't want to become an 800 family. (That would mean a little longer delay in travel & having to deal with the requirement of shots - right now we'll write a letter requesting to have them given in the US.)
I'll let you all know what our SW says after we meet with her this week. And oh - I guess it's official now. So far we've been saying to people that we are praying about it & that it looks like God is leading us in that direction. Well, today Andy announced it to our Bible Fellowship Team (SS class) for prayer & at the same time Heath announced it to his. I guess we aren't good at keeping secrets at the Morris house - LOL!!!!!!!
Have a great rest of your holiday weekend.
