TIRED & "Happy"

I am beat. I am tired. Thank goodness the storms were just about over by bed time, but still days like yesterday wear me out. Noah doesn't like thunder so he gets agitated at just the sounds. So, you add in a few tornado sirens and you get an emotional time had by all. Hannah Grace isn't afraid of the storms, but she DOES NOT like the sirens one bit. So, I guess we need to invest in some ear plugs for Miss Priss. We live in the northern part of a large county that always has a storm passing through part of it when any type of weather (upper or lower) disturbance goes through, so the sirens aren't short lived. I think she thought it was fun that the boys had the drill down to a science: We knew it was coming. They started preparing. The bottom of Dad's closet was cleaned out & in went the blanket for softness, pillows, things to keep us busy, flashlights, & snacks. They then started checking batteries in the radio & such. I guess in her mind it was like going camping without the bugs. ;0) Anyway, we made it through. As far as I can tell, we don't have any damage (no, I haven't been outside yet - it's cold now!!!!) Our area does have some damage from a lot of the straight line winds that came through. The local tv station was measuring them & the ones that hit downtown were at 74 miles per hour. YIKES. Thank you Jesus for sparing us again from some crazy devestation. I know it could have been a lot worse!!!!!

Now on to the happier part. Yesterday during all the madness we received an email from Colorado - yep from our agency. It contained the January milestones. She is growing a little in weight but didn't change in length. We didn't get updated photos but they seemed to think that they were on their way, hopefully TODAY!!!!!!! The last line on the little form states: ...... is HAPPY child. What more could I ask for? It just melts my heart to hear that she is happy. So, here's hoping that today we will get to see some HAPPY pictures of Ebaby.
